Tennessee getting slammed by tornadoes and more flooding overnight. This tornado damage from Gibson County, TN (south of Bradford) tore roofs off homes and snapped trees and power poles. Earlier in Union City, TN extremely heavy rain as strong storms moved over an already saturated ground caused flooding throughout the city. River flooding will now become the main issue for the next few days and it had already started becoming a problem earlier at Rives, TN where pumps were having to try and help keep the water out of homes. #tnwx #flooding #tornado #tennessee

The speaker of the TN Assembly uses a language that a carding-holding member of DMK will think twice before using. Incidentally, the TN DIPR has now removed this video from the public domain, embarrassed by the speaker's choice of words. Is he threatening the Hon Governor of TN? A fire broke out in Vyasarpadi Mullai Nagar slum, affecting many families. TVK volunteers went there with permission to give food but police stopped them. Worse, a Dalit woman named Gangavathi (45) was beaten by a police inspector who kicked her in the stomach. She’s now in the hospital. Another TVK woman, Tamil Selvi, had her clothes torn by police.
