@City_Ekurhuleni Has Modiba actually approached the Municipality for comment? Journalists have proper channels to seek answers; grandstanding in front of cameras is not one of them. If there are unanswered questions about an alleged killing, ask the Municipality, get the facts and report them.

Check the legal record before calling repetition “evidence.” The Koko-Mantshantsha matter was settled out of court. In the Daily Maverick case, the High Court found Modiba’s statements defamatory and unlawful. Modiba and Sikhonathi used to work together at Daily Maverick

You’ve made a very serious allegation and provided absolutely nothing that proves it. Corruption somewhere in a municipality does not magically make the Mayor personally corrupt. If Modiba has evidence against Xhakaza, produce it. A Twitter timeline is not a court of law.
