Imma just say this but Charybdis is never described as this huge sea monster in the Odyssey, just a monster that lies at like the ocean floor sucking it down and then throwing it all back up. It is meant to showcase the unpredictability of the ocean and the horror of it.

It doesn't look bad visually, but a little too video game like and I prefer the more grounded approach Nolan is taking since it's only exaggerating just enough and not going too far like this clip.
