The victim's family continues to allege that no FIR has been registered against the developer despite their repeated demands. As President of We Work Foundation, I raise serious questions regarding the handling of this case by MBVV Police Commissioner Niket Kaushik, Additional Commissioner of Police Sanjay Shinde, DCP Headquarters Sanjay Kumar Patil, DCP Zone-1 Rahul Chavan, and Senior Police Inspector Rahul Kumar Patil of Kashigaon Police Station. The family has publicly alleged that justice is being delayed. If these allegations are true, they raise serious concerns about whether the law is being applied equally and whether influential persons are being given special treatment. I also question why the construction site reportedly resumed work after the incident. If accurate, was the accident scene properly secured? Was all evidence preserved? Were all statutory departments directed to inspect the site immediately after the tragedy? Some boys came to the shop and started misbehaving with the shopkeeper over the shop's name.
