FIFA did not start corruption to Favour Morocco today This is a Penalty shoutout between Morocco and Algeria in 1988 for 3rd place in AFCON in Morocco on March 26, 1988, at Stade Mohamed V in Casablanca. The game ended 1–1 after extra time (Morocco's goal by Nader in the 67th minute) The Algeria GK saved the last Morocco penalty and it was cancelled and asked to be replayed for no reason. The Algeria goalkeeper saved it the second time. Guess what, the CAF referee shamelessly cancelled it and asked it to be replayed again. At this point the Algerian players got mad and stormed the field to accost the referee about the corrupt decisions. But at the end of the day football always wins over cheaters and corruption. The Morocco player missed the penalty a third time and this time the referee could not ask for it to be retaken again for he had previously been accosted . Algeria won 4–3 on penalties. This secured Algeria's bronze medal finish. - **Winner**: Cameroon (defeated Nigeria 1–0 in the final on March 27, via Emmanuel Kundé's penalty). - **Runners-up**: Nigeria. - **Fourth place**: Morocco.

Why is no one talking about this? Moroccan ball boys, players, and officials repeatedly interfering during live play. Goalkeeper towels stolen, goalkeepers harassed and physically confronted while the match is still being played. This is not “atmosphere” or gamesmanship. This is outside interference and a serious organizational failure. Silence from CAF. Silence from FIFA. Total disgrace. A country that cannot guarantee basic on-field integrity should not be rewarded with hosting privileges. In my opinion; Omar Artan is the best young referee in Africa. 🚨🇸🇴 On our way for the final, I was just sitting next to him on the plane. I saw him pull out his iPad then started to watch some few games of Sundowns and Pyramids. He also watched his own performances from other games he officiated and sat down quietly to analyze them. Artan also explained to me some decisions and calls they do make on the field after asking him questions. I have never seen a young referee who is this intelligent. He’s really knowledgeable and has deep understanding of the game. I am not surprised about his excellent performances yesterday. 👏 At the next CAF Awards, he deserves the Referee of the Year accolade. Thank you Somalia for giving us such a top class referee. Hopefully, you’ll continue to give us more in years to come. #CAFCLwithMicky #TotalenergiesCAFCL #Somalia

I want to share fully my experience in Senegal and the respect Africa has for South Africa. I wish for South Africans to travel Africa. To see. To learn. To belong. Today was very emotional listening to Senegalese talk about us. About Thabo Mbeki in particular. I walked at a place called Soweto on Nelson Mandela drive. I walked up the African Renaissance Monument. In Addis Ababa, I met Nelly from Kenya who works in CAR and has businesses in Senegal. She has organised that his chauffeur drives my tour guide and I to the Gambia tomorrow. Today, I met 2 Nigerian ladies who didn’t understand French and were trying to communicate with their cab driver but couldn’t. I donated my tour guide to them and we got on our car and dropped them at Goree Island. They invited me to their birthday celebrations tomorrow. Did I tell you a visa is free for South Africans upon arrival in Senegal? Sixatyaniswa yiCAF qha no Patrice Motseoe neSenegal otherwise sigood. We have decided with my tour guide we are not talking about CAF and Patrice. For peace sake. Kodwa bathi yeyabo kumnyama kumhlophe! Oh the food was delicious!

🚨🇺🇸#BREAKING | NEWS ⚠️ Here is the private jet and registration number (#N888KG) that people have been commenting on that took off from Provo, Utah about 45 minutes after the shooting there were reports the pilot turned off his transponder. You can see his return flight about an hour later on flight radar 24. I don’t see that the transponder was turned off, but who knows. The person who did this was probably a pro and multiple people were involved . Charlie was wearing plate armor, but the bullet ricocheted and hit his neck. He was wearing it after he worried after talking about and possibly there was a stand down during the killings in Israel.

HUGO BROOS 👴 Tomorrow we are playing against a Zimbabwe who obly enjoys playing against us. They even celebrated & sung after frustrating us to a draw. It was strange seeing a team celebrating a draw that takes them nowhere. A day or so before the Egypt game, we were in the meeting with CAF officials and referees They showed us the rules of the game. I asked them about offsides & penalties. They told me that it's only a penalty if a players overstretches his arms. I saw an Egypt player stretching his arm & touching the ball in the box. The ref charge for us. The VAR made him take away everything from us. Very strange
