@GeorgeMonbiot Brilliant but disturbing interview. At the Oxford Long Covid clinic I was told by a psychologist in the room, when I asked what I should do, to stop reading media articles and going on the internet. Same rubbish.

@GeorgeMonbiot My God, it's hard for me to feel any sort of sense of justice these days, but George's words here gave a shiver down my spine. Yes, it's actually possible for non-ME patients to understand the position ME patients have been put in. THANK YOU!

@GeorgeMonbiot 100% agree with this clip, sad thing 4 most M.E. patients is not only do we have doctors spouting this nonsense, but many of us have been offered antidepressants because the doctors felt this was a good idea. For me the depressing thing was the lack of action, not being depressed
