@hqspider That dead area is actually a fungus. That’s not due to drying out, actually the opposite. Likely too much water. The mushrooms are a sign of that as well. Treat it with a fungicide and it will likely fill in quicker.

@hqspider If you already have been seeding spread a heavy layer of peat moss over the grass. Keeps moisture longer than soil, aerates the ground and protects the seeds to help them grow
