What an arrogant, distasteful and disgraceful excuse. Why are some Nigerians not able to take the noble path of humility in admitting weakness. Figures might not be Okpebholo’s strength, but he saw the figure before venturing to reading to the public. Why go down to the mud by accusing ex-governor Obaseki and Ighodalo? Okpebholo might possibly be dyslexic, which is a medical problem and understandable. If that is the case, people will understand if aides have to read out numbers/figures on his behalf. But how would a governor who is unfamiliar with figures be able to account for the huge income and expenditure of the state? How would he be able to take such humongous responsibility in a society where everyone is a suspect of being pathologically corrupt?
