As I read this, I'm with my mom making her remember 'Sri Ramachandranukku' mangalam song which was her fav. She is bedridden having multiple issues along with dementia and hallucinations. I can understand the pain and as well as the small small happiness when they respond. 🙏🙏❤️

I heard about Aubree Archibeck about 5 years ago when her dad randomly emailed me and sent me a video of her singing. I knew that someday we’d find something to collab on when the right song came along. And as I was working on this version of “How Great Thou Art” …Aubree immediately came to mind. I just knew. She was the perfect person to bring this song to the world. A combination of her heart, spirit, and her incredible voice. jannabi talking about #karina and their collab host: in aespa, karina was not the member that stood out a lot in terms of vocals. but her voice is very unique, and there's something that only her voice has, it has colour. i personally think karina has the pivotal voice that represents aespa's colour. so that's why i think that it was a very wise decision to bring karina's voice into the song jeonghoon: she sang extremely well. her singing was really good, and she's also incredibly sincere about music. dohyeong: we could really feel her determination for this song, so we're very grateful for her JH: she said she wants to really sing her favourite line well, so she attempted the recording several times H: what was the favourite line? 👥️ "a night sky and terrace" JH: she liked that part a lot and said "this is my favourite line, i want to try singing it better". and especially in the second verse, i gave a few descriptions of the song to her, asking her to sing the part with a bit more assertiveness and liveliness, and she comprehended it really well

My mom really liked a song that she heard on the internet for our first song that really wanted to dance to, but she didn't care for the original singers voice. She asked me if I could sing it at my wedding for our first dance, but since it was a brand new song and relatively unknown, there were no instrumentals online and I told her it wasn't possible. Little did she know, I found someone to strip the audio and I secretly recorded this. Made a secret email and everything to send files back and forth with Joey. The first time she heard it, was while we were dancing. You can even see in the video it took her 10-15 seconds to realize it was me singing. I cry every time I watch or hear this song.

Enya's second side quest was even more emotional for me because she was already a withered soul who had lost her voice and body, and I didn't know why until I did her second quest, which comes later in the game. She used to be a star, a struggling artist who sang until she couldn’t and the industry never cared for her wellbeing. She was only seen as an instrument who could sing, and that was what made the industry care about her. Well, there's some truth in that too. She wasn't well, so when she was unable to sing and perform, I guess they threw her away and broke her body apart, as she was just another useless doll. They had their fun with her and just threw her in the garbage until the scavenger Su found her. He tried to fix her and did everything he could to make her talk and walk, but he didn't have the resources so kept searching for help until he met Eve and Lily. Enya had already lost her memories, and we somehow manage to fix her body and voice, but those memories we find for her... she refuses to take them, she's happy without those memories. She lives with someone who truly cares for her, not just her voice, Su loves her entire being. Su and Enya's quest was too good to be just a side quest!

I had a video call with them this morning, and it was truly heartbreaking listening to her speak and hearing the painful reality of what she goes through. According to reports, she lives with her sick grandmother, while her grandfather struggles alone to support her education. Sadly, she has never met her father, and her mother lives far away from her. For the past three weeks, this brilliant young girl has been unable to attend school. Her teacher, Nana Kojo, has been personally supporting her with food and care just to keep her going. This evening after work, I visited Mbagathi Hospital to follow up on the Kenyan-Indian lady we rescued yesterday from the streets of Westlands. She was in pain when we found her, but I’m glad to report that she is now responding well to treatment, and we wish her a full and speedy recovery. Today I was joined by friends from the Indian community who had reached out to me after learning about her story. Together, we visited her and offered support. I continue to appeal to anyone willing to help this lady to come forward. Our hope is to find her a safe and supportive home once she is discharged from the hospital.

Something has to change. After operating all day and doing two DIEP flap cases, I saw a woman who had driven hours across Texas to get help. She has a history of breast cancer, had implant reconstruction, and had radiation on one side. And we know this, radiation and implants don’t mix. She developed signs of infection. Her incisions opened, fluid was draining, and she went to an ER and even called her plastic surgeon for help. The surgeon who initially performed her reconstruction told her, “I don’t take your insurance anymore.” She continued working and looking for help while the infection got worse. Because her insurance reimburses so poorly, she couldn’t find someone to operate on her. Eventually, she made it to our practice where we took care of her. Our plan is to treat the infection and then perform a flap reconstruction so she can finally heal. It’s a privilege to have her trust and to take care of her. But I want to say this clearly: This level of heroic effort is not the answer longterm. We need a sustainable system that is applying pressures in the right direction. And we need to agree on what healthcare services should be available to all Americans.
