Holy shit he's right. I'm a giant fucking nerd and I've only seen a bit of the first. What really IS going on here? Overseas maybe? Confused.

I’ve heard kids quoting Aliens and Predator more than Avatar “Game over man, game over…” “I aint got time to bleed”

Protect your money now! Two US banks collapsed, billions trapped. Invest in gold, a retirement hedge outside of the government's control.

Lmfao probably because the people that spent the most to go see these movies live on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean…

I don’t know anyone who’s seen both nor has anyone ever referenced it…. Personally I didn’t even know the second one came out yet. 🤔 You’re right math isn’t mathing.

Fun fact: A substantial portion of money in Hollywood is from Mexican cartels to launder the cash.

Respectfully I think you’re way off here. I have gone into the movie theatres less than 10 times in the past 15 years and two of the times was to see these two movies

Every single art form is an ideal avenue for money laundering. With the type of life that James Cameron lives, it wouldn't surprise me in the least.

People bought then to try out the new Blue Ray technology. It has more to do woth the visual lore than the actual film. Similar to Crysis in 2007 when people would buy it just so they can say their computer runs it. Very smart marketing actually.

Nobody I know saw it or can name 1 characters name. That's the test. How many people can even name the characrers?

I will talk about that movie. It was the first time in history that a movie production hired all the top CG companies to work on the same film. There were 3 major CG companies at the time. Normally a film production would hire one of those three to work on the film and it made the style of that whole film. But James Cameron hired ALL 3… which enabled them to get the best of all possible effects at that time. No other movie could even come close to competing. It’s 3D at Imax showing was spectacular. Increadible color and depth, and very realistic for that time. It was more about how spectacular the visuals were opposed to the acting and storyline.. although.. at the time they were trying to make that early environmental plea to get people to want to save the planet. But it sort of came across as kinda lame and that actress from Alien should have never been caste in this film. But… that on top of the massive budget they set aside for marketing truly did make this the highest grossing film of all time. It was because that type of 3D was brand new at the time… and it was the first time All 3 major cg companies worked together. I believe he even made a new type of camera to capture the 3D as well. It’s truly a masterpiece in that sense. Now the storyline is kinda lame as fuck… but as far as art is concerned… it was truly a masterpiece.
