The quiet power given to Susie Wiles: "Two of President Trump's sons are hyper-aware of the problems with Operation Warp Speed and the shot...a couple of us...were invited to present to President Trump when he was still a candidate...[but] his chief of staff (Susie Wiles, former lobbyist) blocked us at that point in time." Some interesting background information on Susie. She's a self described moderate. She's worked in politics for decades. "After Trump's 2016 victory, Wiles became a partner at Ballard Partners, a Florida-based lobbying firm founded by Brian Ballard. The firm opened an office in Washington, D.C., and quickly became successful, earning more than $70 million in lobbying fees during Trump's first term in office by representing various corporate clients, federal disclosures show." In 2017, Wiles registered as a lobbyist for Globovisión, a Venezuelan TV network owned by Raúl Gorrín, a businessman charged in Miami with money laundering. In 2019, she registered with the Justice Department as a foreign agent working for one of Nigeria's main Democratic party for two months. After becoming Trump’s de facto campaign manager in 2022, Wiles kept on lobbying, this time for Mercury, a multinational public affairs and lobbying firm. Most recently she was representing the maker of Swisher Sweets cigars (who donates to the local establishment, like John Rutherford, state reps and city counci. "Days after it was announced that Susie Wiles was joining Mercury, another big name joined the firm. Robert Jones, who was serving as senior vice president of government relations and public affairs at vaccine-maker Pf*zer, became managing director at Mercury after 19 years of working for Pf*zer." Some of Wiles’ clients, a trade group for children’s hospitals, homebuilders, and the City of Jacksonville, Florida. Speaking of Jacksonville; Trump transition spokesman Brian Hughes (Jacksonville swamp) defended Wiles from claims that her past work as a lobbyist would impact how Trump runs the White House."Susie Wiles has an undeniable reputation of the highest integrity and steadfast commitment to service both inside and outside government," Hughes said. "She will bring this same integrity and commitment as she serves President Trump in the White House, and that is exactly why she was selected." Wiles most recently worked as the co-chair for the Florida and Washington, D.C., offices of Mercury Public Affairs, a lobbying firm whose clients include AirBnB, AT&T, eBay, Pfizer, Tesla and the Embassy of Qatar, If you ever scratched your head at Trump appointments and endorsements. "Wiles will be in charge of vetting candidates seeking Trump's endorsement. Wiles has been tasked with overseeing Trump's fundraising operation and creating a system for issuing endorsements." It seems as though Susie is catching on to the negative media and doing damage control. If you see puff pieces, that's why.

RHP Jacob Mayers (LSU Baseball) is an interesting arm in this year's Draft class. Was outstanding as a true Freshman and pitched his way to a 2.02 ERA with 105 Ks to 58 BB across 75.2 innings en route to taking home Southland Conference Pitcher of the Year honors and being named a First Team Freshman All-American. Took a bit of a step back in 2024 and compiled a 4.58 ERA with an SLC-leading 106 Ks to go along with 76 BB in 70.2 IP. Mayers has a projectable, high-waisted frame at 6'5" and 205-pounds. He doesn't have the cleanest or simplest delivery and he'll struggle to repeat it at times. Mayers has a somewhat abbreviated arm stroke and attacks from an over-the-top slot with present arm speed. Front side will sometimes fly open which has led to command issues, but there's some pretty low hanging fruit to clean up in his operation going forward (Ex: getting more into his lower-half, refining it to become more repeatable). Adding strength and explosiveness will be key. Mayers' fastball is his bread-and-butter pitch. It sits in the 92-95 range, but has been up to 97 out of an outlandish 7-foot release height. His release height is certainly a contributing factor here, but the pitch also averaged an eye-popping 24.3" of ride and nearly 2,400 rpm. Mayers threw his heater a whopping 91% of the time and was still able to generate a 35% whiff rate, including a 30% (!) IZ whiff rate, on it. There are plenty of outlier traits, but his command is below-average. If he can up his competitive pitch % and stay in and around the zone on a more consistent basis, it will make it that much more effective. While his FB is the money-maker of his arsenal, Mayers will occasionally mix in a gyro SL in the low-80s that lacks teeth right now. He's still gaining a feel for the pitch and there is work to be done on it going forward, but it could be a potentially above-average offering in the future. 40/45 currently. One of the biggest question marks with Mayers is the development of a third pitch. He mixed in a handful of mid-to-upper-80s and a couple piqued my interest; one showed some fade to the arm side and another flashed late tumbling life. It's clear he isn't comfortable throwing it yet, but this could be the pitch to develop at least to the point where it's serviceable. Mayers right now is very much a work in progress and all signs right now point to him ending up in a relief role long term. However, he's a very fun, moldable ball of clay to try and develop and get the most out of. As the low hanging fruit continues to get cleaned up—whether it be at LSU or in pro ball—polish will hopefully follow. 5th-8th round pick right now. (📽️: Nicholls Baseball)

AI just hit a wall that no amount of money can move. The planet itself. There is not enough power, water, or land on Earth to build the data centers the AI race now demands. So the most valuable bet in artificial intelligence is no longer a chip company or a model. It is a rocket company. The plan is to leave. In January, SpaceX filed with the FCC to launch up to 1 million solar-powered data center satellites into orbit. In February it bought xAI, the maker of Grok, folding an entire frontier AI lab into a rocket company in the largest corporate merger ever recorded. On June 8 it unveiled the AI1, a compute satellite with a 70-meter wingspan, wider than a Boeing 747, powered by the sun, cooled by the vacuum of space, and wired to the ground through Starlink. Four days later it went public in the largest IPO in history, near 1.77 trillion dollars, touched 2.1 trillion on its first day, raised close to 86 billion, and made one man the first trillionaire alive. Now read the direction of that merger, because it is the whole story. A rocket company bought the AI lab. Not the reverse. For three years everyone assumed the constraint on AI was chips, or data, or talent. It is none of them anymore. It is energy and heat and dirt. The head of Anthropic said his company grew faster than the exponential, 80 times in a single year, and that is exactly why it ran out of compute. The answer was not to build more data centers in Virginia. It was to leave the atmosphere, where the sun never sets and a solar panel does five times the work. The moat in artificial intelligence is no longer the model. It is the launch. And the first rent is already being paid. A rival lab, Anthropic, is reported to be sending roughly 1.25 billion dollars a month to Musk for compute. Google near 920 million. If intelligence moves to orbit, the company that owns the only affordable road there becomes the landlord of the next layer of the internet, the way one bookstore became the landlord of the cloud. The merger is the proof of concept. The IPO is the war chest. Those monthly checks are the lease. Here is the part the price tag does not want you to read. Close to a trillion dollars of that valuation rests on orbital data centers that do not yet exist, and on a chip factory, Terafab, that SpaceX's own public filing calls a general framework with no binding deal, one that may not achieve commercial viability. Musk said it on camera. This is not a promise. The largest IPO ever written is priced on a future the filing itself cannot verify. The other side is just as real. Compute in orbit costs about four times what it costs on the ground today, and the curve may not cross for fifteen years. The machines that print the chips are backordered for years. Shedding heat in a vacuum at this scale has never been done. Musk's timelines have a long history of meaning later. And Bezos is racing the same orbit with a constellation of 51,600 satellites of his own. But strip it all away and the trade underneath is one sentence. Earth has run out of room for intelligence, and whoever owns the road off the planet owns whatever gets built next. Call it the most expensive science fiction ever sold, or the first time the map of the internet pointed up.

Stop with your bullshit apologies. We have seen every word. I’m done with the “I wasn’t involved” or “I didn’t see it.” We have seen it ALL. These are just some of the screenshots. And I do not want to hear a WORD about it being mean for me to drop names because I have this many followers. I get to defend myself. I get to call out the ACTUAL mean girls and not be called mean for warning a community I feel a duty to protect about the cruelty of those who seek to harm this community. Ellison, you are a straight up liar. See the video of our DM’s. You asked me to RT and I did. Even if I did say I’m too busy to be your personal money maker because I was moving my wife 1700 miles across the country, I have every right to say I can’t add something to my plate if I can’t. Either way - your issue was that I didn’t allow you to use me. I chose my wife over a girl who does not know me and pretended to. Your words were selfish and cruel for no reason. You deactivated instead of facing what you did. Grow up and face it. Calling Vik transphobic? You’re a liar. You don’t even know her! Beth - you never even asked me for help. The things you said about Petra? How could you say that about another trans woman as a trans woman yourself? I’m so deeply deeply saddened by the attacks on her. To those of you in that chat who were my friends - genuinely, just wow. None of you defended me until after Ellison left your chat once she realized she was caught red handed. And to see the things you blindly said about people I love without even knowing them at all? To those of you who blindly believed this and the other vile shit said about myself, Petra, Vik, and Erika - I hope you learned your lessons about blindly believing shit others tell you. And I have RARELY said no to anyone on this app. And if I do, it’s because I genuinely can’t stretch myself ANY thinner. I help every person I can. Every single one. I am not scary. I am just a person. There was one group of mean girls yesterday - and it was the group you all blindly followed and believed were the ones sad about “mean girls.” In reality, none of the people attacked were mean. None of them. None of us were even in the GC’s you were allegedly mad about. Regardless, the call was coming from inside the house. Friendships are built on this app brick by brick. None of us came into this knowing one another but we spent real time becoming real friends with the people we are close with. That is what most of you are upset about - jealous, actually. And I get that! But you’re jealous because we formed REAL friendships where we do not have time for the mean girl crap yall do because we’re too busy laughing and gassing one another up, or even gassing up other oomfs. Your friendships are based on hatred and shit talking and getting the “tea.” No wonder you couldn’t form something lasting - who would trust they wouldn’t be next? BE KIND TO ONE ANOTHER. BE REAL WITH ONE ANOTHER. GET TO KNOW ONE ANOTHER. That is how it’s done. Anyway, I will be off this app today and enjoying the last leg of my drive with my wife to our HOME together. Despite this, I still love you all.

💬一開始 Sam MacPherson 直接就說:「We're not a bank. I mean, banks suck.」然後補了一句:「They pay you nothing and keep all the money for their shareholders.」 Sky lends at wholesale, and Stars like Spark allocate capital and manage risk.」 💬Sam MacPherson 說:「We now beat T-bill yield, and institutions are noticing.」 現在最熱的話題應該就是 $SPK 啦,Sam MacPherson 有提到,現在的 Pendle 擼分活動很成功(TVL 已經破 2 億),之後也可以用 $SPK 來參與治理、質押賺收益等等,他們也強調會顧好老用戶跟新參與者之間的平衡,從 上就可以查到 leaderboard 排名~ 💬整個影片看得出 Sam MacPherson 對整個 DeFi 的信仰,他說:「If we move everything on-chain, we can prevent opaque systemic risk like 2008.」
