Idiot. Ps5 runs at native 4k30 in quality mode (more than 4x higher resolution than switch which is 1080p-900p 30 fps). In balanced mode ps5 runs at 1800p60, more than double the resolution and double the frame rate. What are you smoking?

I played the trial on the Switch 2 and other than the cut scenes, which is 60 FPS, everything else was uncapped in terms of frame rate. If they team had it capped at 30 fps then it would have been fine. Hopefully, it gets optimized by release.

I tested it on PS5 in balanced mode and on Switch 2, and it's night and day; on Switch it lags and is blurry.

The game looks great for a hand held. But you can absolutely feel and the see the difference in the city. The monster walking the city look stop motion compared ps5. The sw2 is an amazing system and I love it. It is no where near a ps5

If you referring to quality mode, I can actually choose between quality, balance and performance on the Portal.

While I love my Switch 2 and its my primary console, after trying the demo myself and I do feel that it's clunky. Consistent 30fps is alright but the motion blur while playing it makes me dizzy and it cant be turned off on the NS2 version 😞

They did add the most aggressive motion blur I've ever seen and attached it to the auto-centering camera setting Yiu have to go into the settings and turn that > Off <

Except that the PS5 and Xbox versions have the balanced mode. The game is in 60fps with a much better resolution than the blurry Switch 2 version. Capcom did a great job with Pragmata on Switch 2 but for this MH Stories 3 it's not the case, be honest.

This is an okay compromise for hybrid/low-power mode. If I wanted to play it exclusively on a big screen, I’d just buy the game on PC to play it on Maximum settings with a RTX 5060 Ti 16GB GPU and 32GB of RAM, and have forever access to the game and the option for mods.
