But now, reports are emerging from India that two suspects who were arrested in India in connection with the murder of Bangladeshi extremist leader Hadi have claimed that Muhammad Yunus was directly involved in Hadi's killing. The main accused, Faisal Karim Masud, told the media while appearing in an Indian court that he was not involved in Hadi's murder. He claimed that Hadi was a militant and that Jamaat-BNP may have been involved in the killing. Now, fresh reports are emerging that Muhammad Yunus was directly involved in Hadi's murder. An Indian police official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said that Faisal claimed during the remand that Muhammad Yunus himself was involved in Hadi's killing.
