Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975) is still absurdly funny. They rewrote gags on the spot because of constant rain, and the improvisation ended up giving the film half its best jokes. Comedy that somehow gets sharper every year.

Here is have none other than Clint Eastwood singing the Lerner and Loewe tune “I Talk to the Trees”. The film is the musical western “Paint Your Wagon” (1969). It also stars Lee Marvin and Jean Seberg. Released at a time when musicals were rapidly going out of fashion, this movie was notoriously over budget and behind schedule, opening to mostly negative reviews. It was not the huge box-office success that the producers had hoped it would be. Eastwood’s experiences on this movie inspired him to form his own production company, Malpaso, saying that working on this movie had shown him how not to make a movie.
