This is so true. Which sex of parent is more likely to let their emotions alter rules?

This is advice that should be utilized by parents regardless of whether they have boys or girls. All kids need consistency. Boys & girls may develope different unhealthy reactions to inconsistency but, their response will be unhealthy nonetheless.

Yes. Exactly. Keep up the great work you are doing. God bless.

This is so true! It’s amazing to me that many adults have not figured this out yet. Just be consistent and yes it’s hard, but it works.

love everything you post and this is so important!!! You’re correct the children are confused because often mama is inconsistent. People need to take parenting more seriously

Don't have kids, but I'm a guy and that makes sense Well put!🫡

This is very wise counsel

This is true. Most kids aren’t defiant. They’re confused.

Man, I really appreciate you putting this out there. True Wisdom. I can tell you pay attention and care about what you do.

I just donated $100 because everyone needs to know this. Our country would be so different if everyone knew this. 🙏

Boys need structure for sure. The more structure you teach them the more they can learn discipline and that is where all of their future growth happens. You also need to teach them how to structure their day for themselves as they get older.

You are so right, lads are confused by fathers and also rabid women, a bad time to be a young male, love you King xxx

Now, let’s see if they listen.

Draw boundaries. This is the mistake I made with my ex husband. It is not just with children, but also with adults. Draw boundaries. Make people understand , when you cross this line, this is what will happen. And mean it. Respect is earned.

This is so true. You see it with grandparents some times. The kids are wild at home but grandma laid down the law early: when you’re at my house, we don’t put up with that behavior. And the kids behave because of the structure. And they love grandma cuz they know what to expect.

"mood-based parenting" is a good name for something I've seen many times but didn't have a label for Good points man

Be a parent. Not a friend. Make him understand, the world owes him nothing. All my friends used to think, I was harsh on my son, but I understood one thing, children are very good imitators, and they will always want to try you. Put your emotions aside and stick to your word. Never give in. It all starts in the home.

Accurate

Consistency is the key

This is factual & it’s not just boys it’s kids in general.

WOW! Makes sense. You're an angel😘

Not just boys, all kids. But 💯

Great 💎 to drop and I’ll keep this 💪🏾

I was very harsh and I did not care. Even with my girl, I have drawn boundaries. Where do you want to be ? Because co parenting with me, it is not going to happen. You are not going to go back and forth. To Musk, I love you and I could compromise, but your babies will have one parent. Going back and forth will not happen with me. I will not sacrifice myself for children of another woman. Nope.

Remove the earrings - be a complete role model! 🙏🏾👏🏾

Love your spirit, love your program, love you using yourself as a vessel for God’s work! Glad to support and glad to be a part of your wonderful movement, my friend Take care and God bless, Mike aka Quadboy

💯

Exactly. Boys especially, because you give them an inch of leeway, they'll take a mile.

Brilliant!

Kids need both parents. Men offer a kind of stability that females just can't. My child absolutely feels the absence of her father, but I can't get him to show up for anything. My nephew feels the absence of his father & my dad just isn't cutting it.
