A major scene unfolded at the CJP protest at Jantar Mantar today during dinner. People were served roti with khichdi, and many got upset, asking, "What kind of combination is this?" They were almost about to get into a physical confrontation with Junaid. But at the last moment, some CJP members stepped in and apologized, assuring everyone that it wouldn't happen again from tomorrow. Only then did the crowd calm down. They gave a final warning that they wanted a better dinner from the next day, and only then did they somehow finish their khichdi and roti. Just look at the food tantrums at a protest. 😭

I asked Leslie Iwerks about her favorite scene in 'Disneyland Handcrafted,' and she pointed to a moment showing workers pulling the Mark Twain that captures both the difficulty of building Disneyland and Walt's determination to make it happen. "My favorite scene is the guys pulling the Mark Twain. Who knows exactly what the issue was, but they were all trying to pull it, and it's a little symbolic scene of just how hard it was and how hard they worked and their teamwork. Also the fact that they were up against all odds. Everyone doubted this could happen, but they were all saying it was an exciting time because Walt willed it to happen. He told everybody it could happen and that they had never done this before, but they could do it. And so it all gave them confidence that they could pull it off, and they all mobilized under Walt's singular vision to get it done. And I think that scene to me is emotional to me because I just feel like it symbolizes the teamwork."

Some viewers claimed that this pushed a male-dominance narrative, reduced the female lead’s independence, and placed her in a position where she was more at the mercy of the ML. I was reading some discussions about the drama recently, then I came across this interesting debate about this particular scene. So, both the male and female leads were drunk when they had a onenight stand, which later resulted in a pregnancy. Some viewers insisted that the drama should have placed the responsibility solely on the male lead, ‘he should have exercised more self control’ ‘the female lead didn’t give her consent’. so it was a back and forth convo as others felt that based on what was shown in the scene, both characters gave consent and therefore shared responsibility. I was lucky! This is what even zookeepers look out for and many of them do not get to witness it. I was lucky, a male ostrich performs the mating dance for me yesterday at Obafemi Awolowo University biological garden. I was the only one present. When they do this for a human, researchers say this may mean that they really like you and they're trying to impress you or konji has carried them and they're seeing you as a potential mate. I will go for the former 😅 Tainkyu 😊
