In 2021, 24-year-old Sheikh Ismail Sheikh Ibrahim died while test flying a homemade helicopter he spent two years building. The aircraft's rotor blades began spinning out of control, and within seconds, one crashed toward Ibrahim's head. Ibrahim was taken to the hospital, but he sadly succumbed to his injuries later that night.

@Morbidful I feel like a helicopter is one of those things that shouldn’t be built at home.

@Morbidful Surprised he wasn’t wearing a helmet

@Morbidful There are no doors No helmet No safety precautions That's why we need formal education and systematic procedures of doing something

@Morbidful That’s some final destination shit

@Morbidful Poor young man. Full of passion and engineering dream.

@Morbidful Damn looks like the tail rotor failed and a piece of it hit the other one

@Morbidful Always wear a helmet.

@Morbidful Bro did not consider his safety at all. No helmet, no door etc. sad 😞

@Morbidful Imagine workin 2 years on sumthin for it to kill you in 2 seconds without ever workin. smh ..... Leave stuff like this to the professionals man lol

@Morbidful I actually noticed something, if you slow it down and watch, you can see what exactly happened… When it begins to fail, he tries to jump out, not Realising that the main blade is bent to the side and it strikes him. I always assumed the blade shot through the cabin.
