More Americans skipping College

My wife and I both have PhDs and I’m not saving for my children to go to college. Complete waste of money at this point, plus they might get programmed with ideas destructive to our family. I’ll teach them to start businesses instead

I immigrated here about 10 years ago, one of the beauties of this country is not needing a college degree to get ahead. I wish more parents knew that so they don't force college on their kids.

A ‘market’ always finds equilibrium. Colleges basically priced themselves out of the market (regardless of their useless degrees) And, any small business owner will tell you that finding good employees is key. I’ve hired people out of the drive thru because that treated me well

We need to abandon old accreditation and licensing requirements. Young adults shouldn't be required to go to a public institution to learn things they’re savvy enough to learn through apprenticeships and the internet.

This is probably a good thing economically and intellectually.

Well let’s just say college didn’t help my superiors and when the axe came recently let’s just say I found being closer to the btm to be the safest place 🤔. The further u are from the creation of ur product the more risk ur taking has been my philosophy and hasn’t failed 4 20yrs
