You can tell that young man doesn't have a good active dad in his life, and that's why coach is so passionate about this speech. A lot of these young dudes need that, especially when they're not receiving it at home. They just wanna be loved, by the same folks they love...😔

If you’re from where I’m from, you can tell right away that It’s not that no one’s seen anything in him before, he’d just never heard it from anyone he respected until right now. My dad wasn’t completely absent and some of my coaches talked to me like this… meant the world l8r. I chose differently bc of ppl like that pouring into me. Sometimes you just need to hear it outside of ppl related to you for it to stick. I hope this got to the young man 🙏🏿

I know this gentleman and he is a great guy!! I know that some people will miss the lesson because of the language, but he is for and about his community all day, every damn day!!

Do this and less of mainstream therapy. Coaches like him save more lives than the uppity credentialed therapists mostly good at 'validating' and telling people "let's create a safe space."

God protect that coach and his family.
