⚡️BREAKING: Out of control fires – Israel seeks help to contain massive wildfires near Jerusalem Massive wildfires are spreading across western Jerusalem and the Gaza envelope, forcing the closure of Routes 1 and 3 and prompting large-scale evacuations. The fires are nearing sensitive sites, including tanks near the “Black Arrow” memorial west of Sderot and major Israeli settlements and kibbutzim. With 119 firefighting teams and aircraft struggling to contain the flames, Israel has requested urgent assistance from Cyprus, Greece, Croatia, and Italy. Officials warn the situation is critical and likely to worsen.
