I asked Kevin O’Connell what he’d say to a Vikings fan who asked to be sold on JJ McCarthy. Awesome answer on what JJ does well. “I’m really confident and really excited to see him hit the ground running. He’s had a great offseason.” Great This Is Football drops tonight.

JJ McCarthy is NOT a NFL caliber QB. The NFL is just too fast for him. Not even Kevin O’Connell can save him. He’s already thrown 2 interceptions and I’m sure there’s more to come.. Absolutely awful, the #Vikings should have kept Sam Darnold.

It’s still so fresh, and he’s only going to continue to get better… you hear the term lose the locker room. He had the locker room more than anybody I’ve seen ever.” (Via Green Light with Chris Long)

#Vikings GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah with a lengthy response on Sam Darnold: “We got to see Sam play some incredible football for us… everything we do is about what’s the team around him gonna look like… you show up everyday, and get the best version of whoever you decide to go with at QB. How does that fit in to your long term picture, contract, all those different things will go into our plan.”
