More grateful than ever we got this.

Thank Terry Matalas.

I have and will do it again.

A fantastic end to a fantastic season of Trek. This is the end of Star Trek. We have the epilogue with Kirk and Spock. But THIS Right here is the end of Star Trek.

I'm not crying! You're crying!

Ugh...the tears, man. And dang it, JJ! This was all you had to do!

Who would have thought it was so easy. Just take the legacy characters, if you want give them some supposed tragedy or change, but Nothing that actually alters their nature, respect them, put all of them together, in the original ship, and prepare the passing of the baton. Voila!

Picard season 1 and 3 are so good. (Season 2 does not exist.) Bon Voyage, Jean Luc. 🫡🖖

"You activated my trap card!"

I deleted the first two seasons. Season 3 I take to my grave

They wasted the potential of season 2, but yes happy we got such a great fairwell.

The magnificent seven. RIP Patrick🫡

Amen Gary. Amen. 🖖❤️🙏

I'm doing my part 🫡

Hell yeah. The absolute PERFECT ending. The one everyone (cast and fans) deserved!

As much as I hate Kurtzman era Trek, it did give us this scene. Which is something Disney refused to do for fans of Star Wars.

It was always meant to be a grand romantic adventure

Also more grateful as well.

Meh. The ending scene to All Good Things was perfect. S3 of Picard still sucks.

😭

This is a beautiful end to his story. Just friends enjoying each other's company and having fun. For the actors in real life as well. Instead of mourning his death I rather celebrate Patrick Stewart's life and the impact it had on all of us.

Pouring out an Earl Grey for the Captain.

@LadyGravemaster Amen brother. Glad I shagged it on disc!

Absolutely. The end of Generations hits pretty hard now too.

Agreed!

I love this. We should have gotten this with Star Wars. I still hold hope we get this with Deep Space 9. We will miss you Captain.

Agree. Perfect sendoff

It wasn’t perfect but a better ending to TNG than Nemesis

I am so thankful that Terry Matalas stepped into the daunting task of rescuing the sinking ship of Picard, having to deal with Kurtzman, and almost create something that the fans would love at that point. It truly seemed impossible. What he created and those final moments with TNG crew on screen is so special now.

grateful for what tho? the participation trophy energy of this tweet is unhinged

Fuck that Old Commie bitch

😭
