This is wild. I romanced Blackwall first when the game came out. Got to the part where he ditched me in that damn barn and restarted the game because I was so angry. And that's when I romanced Solas. Solas not doing what Blackwall did is one of the key reasons I loved him

I mean...he right though. That would've been a huge plot hole.

This wasn’t the biggest issue with this scene, Solas is kind of self-sabotaging, and his inability to flee there would have been a really nice romantic contrast to how he actually disappears easily off the face of the earth later.

I heard someone say they made Jaal's sex scene (Mass Effect: Andromeda) out of Solas' cancelled sex scene and honestly, it does make a lot of sense.
