From Max's onboard you can see just how late he moved past the RB and braked. Lewis probably got caught off guard by it but either way he needs to stop being so lenient to Max. He always has been (for his own safety of course) but its cost him so often.

This is called the sonder effect. It’s the realization that every stranger you see has an inner life as rich, layered, and emotionally real as your own. The person walking past you is not just “a woman in a red coat” or “some guy in traffic.” He has a past, private fears, people he misses, routines he hates, memories that still sting, and plans he has not told anyone yet. Most of the time, our brains simplify other people into background. Not because we are cruel, but because we have to move through the world from inside our own point of view. Sonder is what happens when that illusion breaks for a second. You stop seeing people as scenery and start seeing them as entire worlds. That is what makes it powerful. It does not just make the world feel bigger. It makes you more humble, more patient, and a little more aware of how much you do not know about the people around you. For one second, the background characters disappear. And everyone becomes real.

A few months later, Trump ordered airstrikes on Iran. The guy who ran on “no new wars” went to war after that “gift.” So when Netanyahu brings up the pagers at the UN, he’s not being cute. New Mexico is an American state. Its name doesn’t have to stay a souvenir of somebody else’s map. The land is ours. The laws are ours. The people who live there are Americans. Keeping “Mexico” in the title treats the state like a leftover instead of a piece of the country that already paid for it. If a name no longer fits the country that holds the ground, change the name. Call it New America. Or call it something else that honors our country. We name our own states. That’s not hostility, that’s ownership.
