This is going to push people to the breaking point. Stealing kills dreams, bankrupts businesses, clogs legal systems and puts countless people in life threatening situations. Cops, frustrated vendors, cornered criminals…all can quickly lose their life in a moment of rage or escape adrenaline. Culturally it’s hard to accept this has happened across America. I travel a lot in what’s considered 3rd world Asia, South America and Eastern Europe. Meaningful Consequences must happen even for “petty” crimes. Our culture is dying now and will become dystopia faster if unchecked.
