At the Giga Texas Test Track, we see some of it is being used now, with railed lanes, a long line of rumble strips, paint marks & cones … these are in the area where I showed a ground video yesterday of Cybercabs testing with acceleration runs. I’ve included a portion of that video in this one showing the location on the track. Speaking of Cybercab testing, we see 7 set up along with a trailer, that looks like the LIDAR testing rigs that usually we see on the roofs of vehicles driving around streets for camera validation testing & more in what seems to be a temporary dedicated testing facility until a more permanent one is completed. Still more asphalt work to complete the inner portions fo the track, but it is definitely partially operational now and being used! Very nice to see!

Giga Texas production ramping back up for a full work week today! I did a top down view of Model Y’s exiting the factory showing the new procedure of employees driving them down the ramp & then autonomously over to the EOL facility. Many more Model Y Standards are being stored on the E side staging lot (unsure why).

Not the result I want this weekend, definitely a weekend to forget.” “The team did a great job. They did a great job with strategy today. I’ll try and do a better job for them next week.” “We got the settings better, and as you could see I was catching. I was feeling more confident bit by bit. These new brakes definitely caught me out and we’ll learn from that.”
