More reasons to hate Seattle

I 5 North bound express lane entrance is always backed up daily. Truckers know this and always merge on the uphill as the surge allows a gap. I have driven this stretch for 45 + years and nothing has changed. These two crybaby’s need to go back where they came from.😂

That section of I-5 through Seattle is a 1961 relic, punishment for anyone who drives. Perfect for all the progressive car haters that live there.

Darn, they didn’t feature me. I do that every day. I do it smart though, I don’t stop and hold up traffic. There’s always spots to jump in. Seattle/ Washington drivers are 90% retarded. You know it’s COMPLETELY OPEN after that? No reason to slow down or stop. But they ALL do.

The striping change was done to appease those that complained about last second cutters. Without any enforcement, this striping and signing change was a waste of money.

I really like the overhead dynamic speed signs that tell you the speed limit is 45mph when it’s stop and go traffic.

I mean…that particular exit basicallyrequires aggressive merging, especially during rush hour.

I used to drive that road for 12 years was the worst 12 years of my life cause that spot on the freeway is always like that and then as soon as you pass it what just happened nothing but Clear Road …. Washington drivers are the stupidest people on planet Earth.

I've been in that situation where I'm forced to decide whether or not to let them in on that exit (Seneca). And frankly, I'm torn. I hate it too. It's an incredibly dangerous move, because they've slowed down to basically a stop while the traffic behind them is doing 60 or 70 MPH. In fact, if I'm trying to get off on the Seneca exit, I will often stay one lane to the right of the exit lane for it because of this issue here. People do this stupid move of jumping the the qeue for the express lanes all the time and it's just too dangerous to get caught behind them. I make my move to get into the Seneca exit lane once it appears I'm clear of these idiots. As for letting them in of Im innthe express lane exit, if I don't let them in, I might end up contributing to an accident. Yet I hate the fact that they're qeue jumping.

To be fair how many cars didn’t let the semi over before you started recording, people are assholes , most here can’t even zipper merge so don’t act surprised

I was there the other day; it took me 5.5 hours to get from Tacoma to Vancouver BC (280kms) - I do not believe that light rail mess will ever be sorted.

If people didn't leave enormous gaps in front of them, no one would be able to squeeze in. The stopping distance at 20MPH is 1/2 car length, not 6.

This happens in every major city

Everybody knows you stay far right through that area, even if you're taking Seneca. People are idiots for crossing the double white, but so are the drivers in the vid for waiting in that lane.

This drives me nuts as well, but what annoyed me more about it is the fact that it backs up so badly. You literally drive onto the express lanes. There’s no merging, no metering, no crosswalks, or traffic lights! Why Seattle drivers can’t handle this is beyond me.
