And Mike Brown, sits there complicit, even though he knows that I had never spoken to Sarah until October 2024 after she had already given her complete testimony to The Roys Report. She knew the relationship was romantic and sensual, and that Mike was escalating the physical contact. If Heather Schott wants to know what happened in my conversation with Sarah, she can give me a call. She can even interview me. But to deceptively copy/paste and harm a survivor is abusive. He now claims that he told his board to bring on the investigation, he's an open book…but if you look at his emails to me ( you will see that he had no intention of allowing anyone to investigate these claims. Heather and her cohorts present themselves as understanding sexual abuse, but they failed to articulate something that even a novice in this area understands: Victims often blame themselves. So in the version of events where we’re going berserk over this- we’re believing that this child understands the conversation taking place, and the context of the conversation, feels ridiculed by his evil gay fathers because he knows what the word “mama” is and is trying to say it and they’re openly mocking his pain, and realizes he’s doomed to a life of emptiness and misery because he’s contemplating all that is missing from his life- not what he has. Which, again, is two obviously evil men- maybe even Satanic- raising him and abusing him. That sounds right to me. Certainly, much more likely than the idea that babies mumble, usually starting with an M sound because it’s an easier bilabial sound, and that sometimes they get fussy and cry- and it probably isn’t connected to a deep cataclysmic depression due to the complex matrix of existential environmental stressors.

Animal cruelty in the name of tourism is happening everywhere in the world. And Santorini is a painful reminder of this reality. Donkeys are forced to carry the weight of tourists, step after step, under the harsh sun while their bodies tremble with exhaustion. Their wounds go unseen. Their pain is ignored. This all stemmed from my office's fraud, waste, and abuse units investigation when we received a hotline tip about residents at a homeless site not being served the necessary and contractual meals. When we went there, we found out that residents were being served with instant ramen, cans of beans, and breakfast bars. When we asked for documentation and backup for invoices and billing documents, we noticed that we were given fake invoices as well. So this led to the District Attorney's Office and the US Attorney's Office investigating this and leading to this arrest. My office only has 5 fraud, waste, and abuse investigators for the second largest city in the United States. We have over 40 departments and there is an annual budget of every department that amounts to over $35 billion. Last year, my office received over 700 fraud, waste, and abuse claims. If the city is very serious about ensuring that there is transparency and accountability over your tax dollars, but most importantly, making sure that these tax dollars are helping the most vulnerable people in need, then we need to invest in stronger oversight and independence in our office.”

And a really big stick that they broke on me. The donkey whip got all bent. It's iron. They bent the iron from how much they beat me. It really hurt. They beat the soles of my feet, maybe 40 whips. My entire leg was swollen, red and blue. And he tells me - stand up. Stand on the foot. And it felt like they are burning me. The abuse went on like they. Day after day, hour after hour. And it's only getting more severe. About 7 rounds every day, every round about 20 minutes. There was a guy, they said it's new commander, his weight was at least 100 kg. And I weighted hardly 50 kg at that point. And he was just standing on my neck. Jumping, jumping on my neck. Standing on my head, jumping on my back. And I feel that it's breaking." In my travelogue, I’ve only been to South Africa once (2015). During that visit, I vowed never to return to that country, except for a guided visit. South Africans seem to see their fellow Africans as sub-humans. In February 2016, I published an investigative report exposing the inhuman treatment of other African nationals applying for stay permits by South African officials and their citizens. This made the South African High Commission in Lagos invite me for a ‘friendly’ discussion where they made attempt to discredit the story; but I showed their official video evidence. In response, their Home Office announced a sweeping overhaul of the guidelines for the application for stay permits, making the process even more stringent. This only had little effect. Permit seekers never stopped applying, and the abuse continued, given native South Africans reason to violently abuse immigrants. Over the last decade, the trend has grown from bad to worse. South Africa has consistently projected stories of unbridled savagery and violence to the continent. RFK Jr. is not going to ban antidepressants. What he is doing is opening up a conversation that our culture has avoided for far too long. A conversation about informed choice. That means honest discussions around side effects, long term outcomes, and what happens when someone decides they no longer want to take these medications and needs support getting off of them safely. Last week, a video of Ella Emhoff speaking about her experience with antidepressants went viral. She described spending much of her life on these medications while never being given a clear path off of them. Her story resonated with people across the political spectrum because this issue reaches far beyond partisan politics. Many of us grew up believing that the way to feel seen and understood in our pain was through diagnosis and medication. These are children who came to the United States without a parent or legal guardian… Many fleeing human trafficking, persecution, neglect, abuse or abandonment. And now, the Trump administration is set to end the contracts with nearly 100 legal organizations, on July 31, which will cut off legal counsel for more than 20,000 unaccompanied children… All while funneling these CHILDREN into fast-tracked court hearings. And to make this all even more disturbing… This administration is already withholding $65 MILLION in payment, for legal work, unless those organizations turn over sensitive information about the CHILDREN they represent… Including unredacted medical evaluations and information about their broader immigration cases. A demand that puts attorneys in the impossible position of choosing between protecting these children’s confidentiality (and their ethical obligations)… or getting paid for work they have already done. And legal advocates warn that handing over this information could give the government a roadmap for mass deporting the very children they are claiming to be protecting. Dear Karasira, With a completely shattered heart, I saw the announcement of your death from Rwanda Correctional Service; an institution of Government of Rwanda that was supposed to protect your rights and dignity, yet one that many reports and testimonies have repeatedly accused of abuse and mistreatment. Your story carried immense pain, yet it revealed truths that deserved to be heard. You spoke openly about the killing of members of your family by RPF soldiers in 1994; a story that many in Rwanda feel is not allowed to be told because it challenges the official narrative promoted by Paul Kagame’s government. For speaking out, you were imprisoned. For sharing your truth, you were silenced. You lost your freedom simply for expressing your pain and demanding recognition for your family’s suffering. Now, after years of persecution and imprisonment, the authorities announce your death just as you were supposed to regain your freedom. According to the Rwanda Correctional Service, you allegedly died after ingesting medication in prison. But given Rwanda’s long history of repression, lack of transparency, suspicious deaths in detention, and the mistreatment of critics and dissidents, many legitimate questions will remain unanswered unless there is an independent and transparent investigation. You fought courageously to speak about memory, injustice, and the right to mourn all victims without fear. Whether people agreed with you or not, your humanity and your right to speak should never have been criminalized. Rest in power, my brother.
