Huge columns of smoke rose over the city of Baneh this morning after a base belonging to the IRGC was destroyed. Strikes also hit across the border in Iraqi Kurdistan on Wednesday. Last month, five groups, including the PDKI and PAK, announced a political coalition to seek the overthrow of the Iranian government and ultimately secure Kurdish self-determination. It is historical, moral, and strategic. It is time for courageous, open, and responsible dialogue between leaderships. A dialogue based on shared interests, shared values, and a shared struggle against regional threats. Israel and the Kurdish people share a destiny. Standing firm in the face of challenges, preserving identity, and striving for freedom. I will continue to act in the Israeli and international arenas to strengthen the Kurdish lobby, connect leaderships, and establish a clear and strong strategic partnership.
