More Than 28 Patients Were Still Alive When Organ Harvesting Surgery Began. RFK Jr & HHS Find Systemic Disregard For Sanctity Of Life In Organ Transplant System: "Hospitals allowed the organ procurement process to begin when patients showed signs of life & this is horrifying!" July 21, 2025— The... U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) under the leadership of Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. announced a major initiative to begin reforming the organ transplant system following an investigation that revealed disturbing practices by a major organ procurement organization. The investigation was prompted by the troubling case of Anthony Thomas Hoover, 36, hospitalized four years ago in Kentucky for a drug overdose. He was unresponsive for two days & his family consented to remove life support so his organs could be harvested, after being approached & counseled by an organ procurement organization (OPO). Network For Hope, the OPO, began the process of procuring his organs even though Anthony seemed to be improving. He then awoke & began “thrashing on the bed” & was subsequently sedated. Hospital staff became “uncomfortable with the amount of reflexes” the patient was exhibiting & some began to call his organ procurement procedure “euthanasia,” though representatives of the OPO procurement group told them it was not. One Physician finally stopped the surgery & Hoover survived, albeit with malicious damage already done. Investigations revealed 103 patients not classified properly, 73 patients who were neurologically alive & more than 28 patients were alive when organ procurement surgery began. The HHS investigation revealed that some OPOs actively seek cardiac, or circulatory, death donors rather than brain death ones. The classification of circulatory death involves patients who are typically comatose & on life support. These individuals retain brain function but are deemed unlikely to recover based on medical assessments, which can involve the subjective judgment of the doctors. A coma patient or someone on a ventilator who is fully alive within, can be pronounced as "cardiac or circulatory death" & organs harvested to be sold for transplants. There are serious questions surrounding organ donations that result from the determination of circulatory death, or called “cardiac determination.” There is no uniform time clinicians must wait after the heart stops. Hospitals establish the amount of time that can pass before clinicians can determine someone has circulatory death, generally around five minutes. In some of these cases, “the extraction of the organs is actually the cause of death” for the patient. Do not be an organ donor. They will carve you up like a roast for money before you are dead. And they will think, while doing it, they they are doing good. Good for whom? Certainly not you. Do not believe the system has your interests at heart. Opt out. Sad but true. In 20 years totally customized organs will be made in a laboratory setting as needed a carving up the living to save the dying will be a thing of the past.

HHS should also make sure the list is updated so that those who have opted out are still not in the list. Now that we know our government doesn’t work the way we thought it does. The corrupt hospitals should also get the list of those who have opted out after learning the corruption.

Correct. But I had also heard that even if you take it off your license, it could still be in the main registry through the medical system or the hospital system?? so do these links address how to make sure that you are fully off any registry that could be out there?

@TammyGeorgine Yes, after removing from your license, you then follow up to take it off of the main registry & get a copy to verify. Then file paperwork with your doctor on file with copies of 'opted out' proof. It takes several steps but it can be done.

How do they called it organ donation when the organs are sold? I used to be an organ donor but I found out about how dirty the system is & withdrawled. Now it’s up to my kids.

I used to feel the exact same way Diana! As a young driver & on into my 20s & 30s, I naively thought the Gov't & hospitals would never ever do anything to hurt us.....I have learned so much the last 25yrs.

They are ALL still alive, Valerie, living and breathing, hearts still beating. "Brain death" is a made-up category to allow them to take your living organs. They're easier to use than dead organs and FAR more profitable. We were sold a lie to make us think it's "compassionate" to donate after we're "dead," just like everything else in our corrupt medical system. Think about all the people who woke up from comas or who actually died but then came back, who say they were fully aware of everything happening. Now imagine being aware of doctors cutting your organs out, including your beating heart, and unable to stop it. Really they should focus on growing our own replacement organs from our own stem cells. The technology is pretty much there now. No rejection issues, no lifetime immune-suppressing drugs. But it's more expensive to do that. Cheaper to take living organs out of living people you pretend are dead. And THAT'S what kills you. BTW, given how many people actually wake up from "brain death" and comas if given enough time (sometimes years), there is a line of thought that such states are actually a deep healing state. Regardless, so long as your heart is beating, you're alive. NO ONE should have a right to cut it out of you for profit. At the very least, require FULL INFORMED CONSENT before a person volunteers to be a donor so they know what they're really signing up for, that "brain death" is NOT actual death, and what the risks are. Including the possibility you might be aware of your organs being removed. Right now no information is given at all. They just take your personal information and add you to the database. So wrong on so many levels. Timeline: Organs begin to deteriorate within minutes to hours once circulation stops. Most transplants require: Heart/lungs: within 4–6 hours Liver/pancreas: 8–12 hours Kidneys: up to 24–36 hours (with proper cooling)

The info described in that writing is not correct protocol and is diff than what is done is USA. I worked in ICU; there are 3 main tests to ensure brain death, and when they are taken off the vent, the ppl do not breath at all.. no attempts to breathe. Mainly from head trauma

So how much am I worth? My organs being after transplanted? What is the cost? To the recipient? What is the value of life after insurance coverage that or part of it? If it too expensive? Just let me see Jesus!

It's amazing how you are asked to be a "donor," yet your organs are sold for tens of thousands of dollars.Why is that? If they're donated, the families shouldn't have to pay anything for them. I have never been a donor for the reasons she has stated. I never trusted the process.

I didn't know about the body organs and that we are all donors and that they know that on the scene of an emergency. I have some reading to do. fortunately the rest I know, they want full control
