On this Reformation Day I am reminded that every prayer to Mary is an idolatrous attempt to replace the one mediator who gave his life to redeem his people. "For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time. 1 Tim 2:5-6

@RCSproul At his trial, he proclaimed, "If, then, I am not convinced by proof from Holy Scripture, or by cogent reasons... if my judgment is not in this way brought into subjection to God's word, I neither can nor will retract anything... Here I stand. I can do no other. God help me. Amen"

@RCSproul Satan loves the church divided.

@RCSproul Facts: Luther is a failed monk, hated the poor, and stole a nun and her sisters from their obligation to Christ. Don’t watch this video. Seek the Truth ☦️

The Reformation remains one of history’s deepest sorrows. A necessary shock, perhaps, but one that shattered the visible unity of believers. It was a time when zeal for reform became rebellion, and truth was divided among competing altars. Yet even this, in God’s plan, became a call to conversion, compelling the Church to reform herself not by revolt, but by sanctity.

No amount of indulgences paid to an unholy man in a funny costume can buy a person's way into heaven.

@RCSproul ✨ “Such a powerful reminder—humility always leads us back to peace!
