More than 700,000 Albertans signed a petition for a referendum. Disenfranchising those voters won't go over well. Alberta should remain in Canada. Canada should work for Alberta. Denying Albertans a vote is not the way to achieve that.

Last year, emergency departments in Alberta were closed for more than 34,000 hours. Of those emergency departments that were open, over 200,000 Albertans gave up before seeing a doctor. Albertans deserve a govt that will actually work with frontline staff to fix the problems.
