What are the other variables?

This is great Mike and doesn’t conflict with what I was saying last week. Hamstring produce hip extension and knee flexion moments and then that allows everything you described here. Moments plus other variables permit eccentric, concentric and isometric actions or combos

Just FYI, EMG shows hamstring muscle in the single leg squat also

Great exercise demos and rationale! This was a practical and insightful follow-up to the discussion last week. I use similar exercises often in my programming for athletes! A variation I have been incorporating with my advanced athletes is 2 Up, 1 Down Eccentric Landmine SL RDL.

I tried to be objective.

Good bio mechanical breakdown Mike. As I have gotten older and wiser I have incorporated more Iso's in my personal workouts along with the clients that I train. Iso's are so good loading in shortened or lengthened position. 💪

Same with us. Nordic ISO to Eccentric, no concentric. Theyre a mess. No one does them well. The way I see hamstrings now there’s almost too many patterns to attack.
