Sorry, I can't stand walls. They're fine for bedrooms, but I love an open main room. Walls make the area look small and uninviting.

never understood the open concept everyone can see what the other is doing if I drop a pork chop on the floor accidently, I sure don't want anyone to see me pick it up and put it on my husbands plate.

Idk - as a wife who actually does things in the kitchen- it’s nice to be included in what everyone else is watching on TV and what everyone else is doing while cooking/baking/cleaning etc….so am I over millennial grey? Absolutely but open concept I still love. I’ve had both and closed off kitchens suck.

She is right. No privacy or intimacy in open concept. No individuality or quiet space. Many people are regretting this concept because you can't escape the atmosphere of everyone all the time.
