My dear friend's who are Mormon deny these things. I'm not sure if that means they don't understand or if they are lying. But from what I've read this is accurate.

I hate this video because it's poorly animated even for the era it came out. It's also childish in assessment of the theology and cosmology involved. Lastly, because it's a garbage take.

For anyone interested in a deep dive, I've just finished "How a the Book Of Mormon Came To Pass" by Lars Nielsen and it is an incredible story of Joseph Smith plagiarizing a satirical Biblical mythology. Lars reads the audiobook himself. Can't recommend it enough.

No, we love people who hate us making a cartoon that lies, exaggerates, and takes out of context what we believe. And we have spent years talking to other "Christians" earnestly telling you what we actually believe. My goodness, we have a whole website dedicated to that end. But instead of talking to an active faithful member you get Christians breaking one of the Commandments "Thou shall not bear faults witness" But I guess all you have to do is "believe" and when Christ said if you love me keep my commandments he didn't really mean keep my commandments. Anyone who claims to be a follower of Christ should do better and I pray you will.
