I have heard some pilots say they love flying but there is to much prep, work, BS before they can fly, that they dont get enough flying time and because of that they just get out. Is there any truth to that?

Unfortunately there is significantly more prep time than flying. It is not uncommon to prep 10-12 hours for a complicated 1 hour fighter sortie

I love this aircraft so much, mad respect for you guys 🫡
