Ravens fan, but this was a really good listen. I wish you were a fan of the Ravens because you always provide such detailed analysis on the Bengals. Still plenty of season left, and in the playoffs the Bengals are the last team I’d want to face

Agree with all of this. I keep trying to work through how they can turn this around and it feels like at this point the only way is ownership waking up and completely changing the way they do things and modernizing

What I don’t understand is if they don’t want to be the team that signs big contracts and goes after huge free agents, why not invest resources into drafting well? They have nothing they hang their hat on.

It seems like the bengals would be better if just hiring a data analyst to compile the grades of the top draft analysts in the media and using that as opposed to scouting themselves.

Honestly, I would do this. I'd want that information to balance our grades as a team

The problem is that the Front Office will always view themselves as the smartest people in the room. "Their way" is the only way to achieve success. They surround themselves with "yes men" for coaches and staff.
