A heartwarming moment from Slough, Berkshire, has captured the attention of many after a two-year-old girl calmly stepped in to help her father during a medical emergency at home. On what seemed like an ordinary day, Ymman Demegillo, 31, experienced a sudden hypoglycemic episode—an emergency condition triggered by a steep drop in blood sugar. Before he could reach for his medication, his daughter Zab noticed something was wrong. Footage from inside the house showed Zab rushing to her father’s side, calling out his name and trying to wake him. The child then quickly left the room, went into the living area, and brought back glucose tablets, a crucial part of her father's diabetes management. Demegillo shared how his daughter urged him to take the tablets. “She made me chew,” he said, describing the moment with disbelief and gratitude. He added that Zab remained calm and sat beside him while he slowly recovered from the effects of the sugar crash.
