VAULT V1.2 is now live ██████████100% Main Updates: • Vera is now effectively and actively learning on files that are uploaded to The Vault. She will become more intelligent over time, as she becomes fully autonomous. Her job right now is to take users down infinite Rabbit holes, discuss conspiracy theories, & learn endlessly. • Vera is able to directly recommend & reference files within The Vault. This feature will improve over time as she becomes increasingly intelligent. • There are now anonymous comment threads on every file within the vault, where you can add comments and even talk with others within specific topics - updated in real time. You will find this beside the "upvote" & "view document" button when opening a folder. • There is now a search icon at the top of the site, where you can easily search The Vault for folders and topics. DON'T LET YOUR BITCOIN DIE WITH YOU 💀 ⚰️ Yea look, nobody likes to admit it but we all have to die one day. As I've been talking to people about their self custody lately - both Casa members and not - I hear the same thing over and over. "What happens if I die?" Many people feel pretty good about their bitcoin security for themselves. But their family members often have no idea how to use this stuff. Hardware wallet? Seed phrase stamped on metal? Shamir's secret sharing backups using SD cards, a passphrase, and a treasure hunt through the backyard with a shovel? 😵 We're solving that problem for all Casa members, starting today with Casa Inheritance. A key design principle we kept while building this was to make it as simple as possible for Recipients (your family members that will receive your bitcoin if you pass), while maintaining Casa-level security. An estate transfer is already a stressful time for family, and it can become even more stressful if you add in a crazy treasure hunt to access a fortune in bitcoin. For our basic 3 key vaults, we wanted it to be as easy as using the app. No metal plates, no need to use a hardware wallet, no magic passwords you have to keep track of or else risk messing up the asset transfer. Simplicity is security. So how does it work, in detail? A Vault Owner (Casa member) designates a Recipient (their family or friend) in the Casa app. The Recipient receives an invite to create a free Casa account. The Recipient scans a QR code provided by the Vault Owner, which contains an encrypted version of the owner's mobile key. This encrypted key is only able to be imported by the Recipient's Casa account, and the Recipient can't initially use it or see the vault balance. If the Vault Owner passes away, the Recipient can request access to the vault in their Casa app. This starts a 6 month timer, and sends a ton of notifications every month to the owner. If the owner is still alive, they can reject the request in app. If they are not, the timer will run out. When it does, the Recipient will be able to use the shared mobile key and the request a signature from the Casa Recovery Key for the shared vault. This gives them 2 out of 3 signatures, enough to access the assets. For 5 key vault users, one hardware key is shared with the Recipient. This small increase in friction for Recipients is often worth it for the increased security and resilience of a 5 key vault for larger holdings. To summarize now that you have the details: 1. Share keys and vault access during setup 2. 6 month timelock to ensure no malicious theft 3. Use shared keys and Casa key to access assets Full setup takes less than 5 minutes. Inheritance is one of the biggest problems in self custody today. If you've hodled through years of painful bear markets, you owe it to yourself and your family to not let the reward for that patience go to zero because you didn't have a plan - and we're here to make that easy. EXCLUSIVE: Robinhood is going to pay 7% on dollars to 27.7 million customers. In this Interview Johann Kerbrat, their SVP of Crypto explains how it all works. Robinhood Earn lives inside the main investing app. You can buy the USDG stablecoin in a few taps, and it gets deployed into vaults built with Morpho and Steakhouse, and the target yield is roughly 7%. Where does 7% come from? Market makers and liquidity providers pay it. These are traders who need USDG liquidity to run spot and perps trading. Your deposit is funding someone else's 50x leverage, and you're the one getting paid for it. Assuming you get paid back. Which, as we've seen, doesn't always work in DeFi with hacks and smart contract risk. But Robinhood has done something extra to make this retail-grade. Robinhood's answer is an insurance program with Lloyd's of London and Relm covering smart contract and vault failure. He says it's one of the largest ever built for a crypto product. Earn was one of 12 announcements; some others that caught my eye: Stock tokens in 120+ countries, backed 1:1 by real equities. You can withdraw them to a self-custody wallet and post them as collateral. Borrowing against a stock portfolio used to be a private banking perk; now it's a smart contract. Robinhood Chain went to public mainnet after 200 million transactions on testnet. Perps on stocks, crypto, and commodities at 20 to 50x leverage, bringing an entire new asset class to the mainstream. He wired his agents into the vault so they pull context from it, do the work, and write what they learned back. The notes aren't the point. The loop is, and it gets sharper every cycle How to build it: 1. Point an agent at your vault. The fastest way, no plugins, no API keys: open a terminal and run npx obsidian-mcp /path/to/your/vault. That exposes your Obsidian folder to Claude as a tool it can read, search, and write to. Add it to your Claude Code or Cowork config and restart 2. Confirm it can see the brain. Ask it: "list the notes in my vault and summarize what's in them." If it reads them back, the connection is live. Now it starts every task with everything the vault already holds instead of from zero 3. Give each agent one job and a write-back rule. WOW! I'm so excited about this. OpenAI Developers said Codex was good at Computer Use, but I wasn't prepared for this. For the last two weeks I've been working on a Computer Use skill to work with Linux. And while I had some success, it was a pretty frustrating experience. That is...until the breakthrough. Starfield is getting a massive new overhaul update on April 7th, alongside a PS5 release and a new expansion "Terran Armada" - FREE LANES: A massive new update, with its main feature being that you can now travel between planets in space with no loading screens - Going into hyper drive no longer takes you into a loading screen, instead you can get up and explore your ship, talking to crew members while you travel - There are new POIs on planet surfaces so exploration is no longer as repetitive as before on the randomly generated planets - There are a new set of encounters that interrupt your space flight, making the act of travel actually interesting now - TERRAN ARMADA EXPANSION: A new faction that you have to face, mainly robots and there is a new companion which is also a robot named Delta. The new weapons are more like modern guns rather than futuristic stuff - Terran Armada incursions: These seem to be new radiant quests to take on enemy outposts - X-Tech is a new material that allows you to upgrade your weapons further, with a ton of new weapon perks alongside it - There are new skins for weapons as well - New player home: A mansion carved out of an asteroid, seems to be the most expensive house in the game - New ship modules that enhance the ship, including a stealth drive that makes your ship invisible. - New ship optimization module that optimizes specific ship systems, as well as a ton of new ship upgrades - New modules for the home building system that are already furnished, such as cabins that you can also further customize - A shared container that acts as one storage box between all your different settlements - New action figure collectibles that give you passive bonuses, pretty much the same as the vault boy collectibles from Fallout - You can now get pets in your settlements and there's a new little robot companion, Muria is also now a companion. - New Game+ now allows you to keep your items on a replay when you finish the main story through crafting a new container with quantam essence and allows you to put any item you wanna keep in it - You can now upgrade all Starborn powers through new levels using the new Quantam Essence item, which can be gained by taking out Starborn enemies - New location: Anchor Point star station, where you'll find many new quests - New vehicle "Moon jumper", it can boost upwards and basically fly - Enemies have new traits and they are "smarter" now, more challenging. "SpaceX has a contract to go land on the surface of the Moon by '28. We just have to go to orbit. We're already doing that."
