You got it backwards, son. This was '96. Mossad rebuilt a small desk & phone, designed it where the the yield wouldn't cause mass destruction, but only take out the intended target.

Nope. GTA1 was released in 1997. Yahya Ayyash was assasinated with an exploding cell phone in 1996.
