Loved this one even more than I did the first one and that’s usually rare for sequels, but seeing Luke go through Jedi training with Yoda and leading all the way up to the best Light saber fight so far him $ Vader was fucking awesome. Even though I knew about the reveal of Darth Vader being Luke’s father the build up and the reaction still made me feel so many emotions, my dawg Luke had been trying his best to save his friends only for the most evil person in the universe to cut his arm off and tell him he was born to be on the dark side is such a gut turning realization. 10/10 movie, this a great fucking film I can see why people love Star Wars so much now and I’m so Excited for the rest 🔥

But he was able to pull back and refuse to play Palpatine's games, accepting death as a Jedi should. It seems people just misunderstand "attachment" in this context, or what Luke really meant when he said things like "then my father is truly dead," or "soon I'll be dead, and you with me."
