Most AI avatars still struggle with the same problems: lip-sync breaks during head turns, faces become unstable when partially covered, and movements often feel robotic. After looking into Wizstar's approach, the technical side is what stands out. Instead of directly generating facial motion from audio, Wizstar uses a two-stage,...

I’ve tested dozens of AI video tools for ecommerce ads. Most still look obviously fake. They either distort the product, break character consistency, or completely miss the pacing that makes viral content actually work. Wizstar was the first one that genuinely surprised me. I tested Wizstar’s Wizstar_official Video Reference workflow using a viral-style ad, and honestly… I wasn’t ready for how accurate it would be. It didn’t just “generate a similar video.” It recreated the entire feel of a high-performing ad — the pacing, the transitions, the camera movements, even that subtle “social-first” storytelling rhythm that usually takes real creative teams to get right. And the wild part is… it still kept the product completely stable across brand-new scenes. No distortions. No weird AI shifts. Just clean, consistent visuals from start to finish. What really impressed me is that Video Reference isn’t just copying visuals at all. It actually analyzes the structure behind viral ecommerce content — things like: - how the hook is built, - how attention is retained across cuts, - and how emotion is paced through the video. Then it rebuilds that logic into a completely new ad, optimized for product testing and fast campaign iteration. And it feels like it understands performance content. The workflow also handled synchronized audiovisual timing surprisingly well — cuts land where they should, motion matches the sound, and the storytelling flow feels intentionally designed, not randomly generated. Combined with stable product consistency and influencer-style framing, the final output honestly felt closer to a real paid social campaign than anything I’d expect from an AI tool. What surprised me is that Wizstar isn’t powered by just one model—it orchestrates multiple top-tier AI models, including Seedance 2.0, and even supports face input out of the box. If you’re curious to try it yourself, you can test it here: New users get free credits, and the first membership is only $19 — plus a complimentary 30-second E-commerce Agent experience included. #Wizstar

I made a digital twin of myself from 10 seconds of video. In the clip: left is the real me, middle is a leading avatar model, right is Mirage Avatar X. Watch the eyes. The difference is not subtle. I have been testing AI avatar models since my first clone in 2023. Every one of them was impressive for about 30 seconds, then your brain caught up. Still eyes. One polite expression. A mouth doing all the work. Avatar X is the first model where that moment never came. Here is what makes it different: It is trained on you. Avatar X preserves your identity. Most avatar models can copy your appearance. Avatar X captures the subtle details that make you you. The way you move, the way you express yourself, and the way you naturally deliver speech. It looks like you. It moves like you. It sounds like you. It understands non-verbal performance Laughing, crying, yawning, sighing. These are the moments where most avatar models fall apart, trying to lip-sync through sounds that aren't words. Avatar X responds naturally, generating realistic facial expressions and micro-expressions instead of forcing every sound into speech. The expression goes beyond the lips Expressions are driven by the audio, through the whole face and body. Ask a question and it furrows its brows and shrugs on the tone. No other model does this to this degree. No quality degradation The first second and the last second look the same. Other models lose quality the longer the video runs. 10 seconds of input That is the entire requirement. Other models need 15 seconds, some even 1 to five minutes. Three years ago my AI clone was a party trick. This one can carry my face, my expressions and my delivery without me in the room. The bar for AI avatars just moved. Avatar X is live today. → Try it here:

Scaling campaigns overseas sounds like a creative problem. Honestly, it’s not. The real bottleneck is localization. As a product lead, I’ve lost too many weeks waiting for native voice actors, rebuilding region-specific edits, and manually fixing lip-sync issues that still looked slightly off in the final export. The worst part is that every new market turns into another production branch to maintain. That simply does not scale. So over the last few weeks, I started testing a few different AI localization workflows with our own ecommerce video ads to see which ones could actually survive real production conditions. Wizstar_official ended up being the one we kept coming back to. Not because it generated the flashiest demo. Because it was the first one that consistently held together once we pushed it into actual multi-market production. The Video Translation workflow supports 12 major languages, which already covers most global consumer markets we care about. But what stood out during testing was how natural the localization sounded. Not “translated”. Actually localized. The tone, pacing, and delivery felt native enough that most people on our team genuinely stopped noticing it was AI-generated after a few runs. More importantly, the video itself stays intact. Audio and visual timing remain aligned after translation, lip-sync holds even during side angles and faster speech, and multi-character scenes stay surprisingly stable instead of collapsing into mismatched cuts. That matters a lot more in production than benchmark style demos. We also tested it against a few other tools internally, and Wizstar consistently handled complex scenes better, especially when multiple speakers, product close-ups, and fast pacing were involved. The output needed significantly less cleanup before going live. Video Reference was another reason we kept using it. Being able to reuse existing high-performing ecommerce structures instead of rebuilding creative logic market by market saves an unreasonable amount of time. Seedance 2.0 also supports face input and multi-model orchestration, which noticeably improves character consistency and scene stability across longer sequences. After a few projects, Wizstar quietly became part of our workflow. We can now produce localized ecommerce creatives in minutes instead of rebuilding entire pipelines around every market. If you want to test it yourself: New users get free credits on signup. First subscription is $19 and includes a complimentary 30-second Ecommerce Agent workflow to test features like Product to Video. Let the tools handle the production overhead. The side-by-side comparison below shows one of our English masters translated into Spanish while keeping almost the exact same pacing and vibe intact. #Wizstar #AIVideo #GrowthHacking

After years of being absolutely tortured by expensive ad creative pipelines, I think I finally found the ultimate savior for brand growth. Most AI video tools are great at generating flashy but random clips. The real challenge starts when you need to produce high-converting ecommerce content at scale without burning your budget. I’ve been testing Wizstar_official, and it honestly feels less like a simple AI generator and more like serious production infrastructure for scaling digital businesses. What stood out to me is how their ecosystem completely automates the two biggest bottlenecks in growth marketing: Bulk Testing and Creative Adaptation. First, their Agent setup paired with Fast Mode is a cheat code for volume. Instead of spending days scripting and storyboarding, the system intelligently extracts your product selling points, writes algorithm-friendly influencer scripts, and batch-produces massive ad variations in one day. It’s ultra-low-cost, built for rapid listing, and keeps your brand logos and product textures 100% consistent and lossless across the board. Second, the Video Reference workflow is an absolute game-changer. Instead of rebuilding every ad from scratch or guessing what works, you can reference any existing successful e-commerce video. The AI reverse-engineers its exact pacing, structure, camera movement, and storytelling style, and applies that winning DNA to a completely different product. That completely changes the production workflow from: prompt → random output into something closer to: reference → structured production → scalable content system Under the hood, Wizstar doesn't just rely on one platform; it supports flexible multi-model orchestration. Driven by their newly integrated Seedance 2.0 engine, it allows direct face input, meaning your character consistency and scene continuity stay rock-solid with absolutely none of that creepy AI face warping across complex cuts. If you are running global campaigns, you can also utilize their Video Translation tool to flip master clips into 12 languages with flawless, natural lip sync in minutes. ✨ New users get free credits upon registration 💸 First month subscription is only $19 (includes a complimentary 30-second E-commerce Agent experience to test features like Product to Video) Stop letting slow pipelines bottleneck your global growth. Want to create an avatar from a single image? FlexAvatar is a transformer model that creates full 360°, high-quality, and expressive 3D head avatar from just a single portrait image in minutes. Real-time Demo: FlexAvatar's lightweight architecture allows both animation and rendering in real-time, enabling interactive user experiences. To create a new 3D head avatar, only one image is required, e.g., from a webcam. The final avatar is ready after 2 minutes. Architecture: Under the hood, FlexAvatar adopts a transformer-based encoder-decoder design. The encoder maps the input image onto a latent avatar space, while the decoder produces 3D Gaussian attribute maps by incorporating the animation signal via cross-attention. The model learns all facial animations directly from the data without relying on pre-built 3D face models. This equips the avatars with realistic facial expressions. The internal avatar latent space can be conveniently used to integrate additional observations of a person via fitting. This enables use-cases where more than one image of a person is available, e.g., from a phone scan of the person. We train jointly on 2D monocular videos and multi-view data. However, in monocular videos, the animation signal leaks the target viewpoint, causing the model to produce incomplete 3D heads. We call this phenomenon entanglement of driving signal and target viewpoint. To prevent entanglement, we introduce bias sinks. These are learnable tokens that indicate whether a training sample stems from a monocular or a multi-view dataset. During training, the model learns to produce incomplete 3D heads only when the monocular token is present. During inference, FlexAvatar then always uses the multi-view token for which the model has learned to produce complete 3D heads. This simple design allows to combine the generalizability from monocular data with the quality of multi-view data. FlexAvatar summary: - Input: Single-image, phone scan, or monocular video - Output: Full 360° head avatar - Expressive animations - Real-time rendering and animation - Generalization to any portrait - Create a new avatar in 2 minutes - Use bias sinks to combine 2D and 3D data 🏠 🌍 🎥 Great work by Tobias Kirschstein and Simon Giebenhain!

NotebookLM is one of the most delightful, inspiring, and viral AI products out there right now, and I got a chance to chat with the PM behind the product, Raiza Martin (@raiza_abubakar). In our conversation, we cover: 🔸 The origin story of NotebookLM 🔸 The future road map for NotebookLM 🔸 How Google Labs operates differently from the rest of Google 🔸 The development of the “Audio Overviews” feature 🔸 Key metrics and growth of NotebookLM 🔸 Stories about collaborating with author Steven Johnson 🔸 Navigating potential misuse of AI technology 🔸 More Listen now 👇 - YouTube: - Spotify: - Apple: Raiza is a senior product manager for AI at Google Labs for AI at Google Labs, where she leads the team behind NotebookLM, an AI-powered research tool that includes a mind-blowing podcast-on-demand feature called “Audio Overviews.” NotebookLM started as a 20% project and has grown into a product that’s spreading across social media and has a Discord server with over 60,000 users. Raiza previously worked on AI Test Kitchen and has a background in startups, payments, and ads. Thank you to our wonderful sponsors for supporting the podcast: 🏆 Explo — Embed customer-facing analytics in your product: 🏆 Sprig — Build products for people, not data points: 🏆 Sidebar — Accelerate your career by surrounding yourself with extraordinary peers: Some key takeaways: 1. Embrace a startup mentality within large organizations: Google Labs operates with fewer processes and more agility than typical Google teams. This allows them to move faster and iterate quickly, much like a startup. 2. Often, powerful technology is already available; the magic lies in how you interact with it. For instance, by integrating powerful audio models with existing LLMs, NotebookLM created an innovative way for users to interact with content. Look for unique applications of the tools you already have. 3. Don’t wait for a perfect launch. Start with a working version of your product and use user feedback to iterate and improve. This approach can reveal unexpected insights and user preferences, helping you shape the final product.

Carrefour Kenya just quietly added one of the most useful AI features I’ve seen in local retail. You can now simply: - Paste your shopping list - Type your shopping list - Or upload an image of your shopping list And the app automatically finds the products and suggests items to add directly to your cart. Just like that. Honestly, this is one of those examples of AI that might not make headlines but will save people real time. Because Me personally?I don't enjoy searching for: “tomatoes, milk, tissue, cooking oil, bread, detergent, yoghurt, toothpaste, onions…” one item at a time. Shopping online often feels like playing a scavenger hunt designed by someone who has never entered a supermarket. This AI removes that friction. And that’s where AI shines. Not necessarily in replacing people…but in eliminating unnecessary work. The most successful AI implementations won’t always be the flashy robots, viral videos, or futuristic demos. They’ll be the features that quietly save you: * 5 minutes * 10 clicks * 20 searches * and a little bit of your sanity. What’s interesting is that we’re increasingly seeing Kenyan businesses move from talking about AI to actually embedding it into customer experiences. That’s the real shift. The winners in the AI era may not be the companies building the biggest AI models. They may be the companies asking: “What annoying task can we remove for our customers?” Because convenience scales. And consumers quickly become addicted to things that make life easier. I suspect after using this feature once, manually searching for every item in your shopping list is going to feel a little bit like typing phone numbers from memory lmfaoo. Technology is at its best when it becomes invisible. You don’t notice the AI. You just notice that shopping got quicker. Have you tried it yet? I just added a list sent to me and BAM!
