“What do you see as the end product for people at work?” Greg Brockman: “A personal AGI.” He frames ChatGPT as basically the first primitive version of that idea. It started as a text box that could only give you words back. Now it can actually reach into the rest of your digital life: calendar, email, tools, computer use, etc. The end state he seems to be describing is less “chatbot” and more an AGI that actually knows your world and can act inside it for you. Greg and Sam have been super persistent about making ChatGPT, well.. persistent and something that’s working 24/7.
