Most Americans are not regularly thinking about whether Iran is obtaining nuclear weapons, and they do not want to be involved in more foreign wars. Now, members of Congress like Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene are stating this plainly. Glenn Greenwald on MTG’s political rise:

I appreciate you speaking about MTG. She’s like the regular people I know IRL. I didn’t know what to think of her at first but she’s grown on me. I was just always under the impression that all the people that run the country were exceptionally intelligent and knew something the rest of us don’t, and I didn’t really give her a fair chance. I started out this journey to learn about politics during covid because for once in my life I had a free minute and some time off. To be honest I thought for sure we were all going to die 🤣 I was that kind of stupid. Trust me I’ve come a long way since then. Still just a dumbass but it’s fine, my kids survived and are grown and that’s how we measure success where I’m from 🤪 I’m sure I took in way too much way too soon as far as information goes. She stepped up to try to help her country get back on track. I love that she’s not on script and I recognize that it’s a learning journey for her as much as my life is to me. Yours is about the only opinion I trust so I truly appreciate all the work you put in, and I love the show! Most of it is way over my head but I’ve learned a lot from tuning in. I also joined locals. I don’t use it or really even know what it is🤣 but just as a way to say thank you, and support honest journalism. So in case you see this, because, you guessed it, I also don’t completely understand X either🤦‍♀️ 😂 but Thank you for bringing truth to this lying ass world.

@ggreenwald If most people do not want America to be involved in foreign wars, they would be screaming to exit NATO. Yet no one is saying anything about be entangled to defend 31 other countries.
