🚨 At today’s “Free DC” protest, the Party for Socialism and Liberation is front and center and they’re not hiding what they want. “It’s not just Trump. It goes deeper. It goes to capitalism. And we need socialism to combat capitalism.” This isn’t about police or “federal takeover.” It’s an open call for replacing America’s system with socialism. This is what happens when the Left refuses to police its own movement. What they’re cultivating isn’t strength, it’s cancer — and it’s killing their party from the inside out.

It’s not that socialism is suddenly becoming more popular. It’s always been popular. What changed was the brief period after 1990 when people collectively recognized that, while it sounds appealing, it doesn’t actually work. Now we have a new generation saying, “Oh, socialism—sounds great!” But the truth is, just about everyone who is uninformed about history thinks it sounds great. You don’t have to be taught that socialism is bad—you have to be taught that it isn’t good. People start out believing it’s good. It feels like a moral, fair, compassionate idea. That’s why it has resurfaced in so many societies throughout history: you explain the concept, and people naturally respond, “That sounds wonderful.” Only later, through experience or education, do they come to understand its limitations—and its tendency to lead to suffering and catastrophe.
