Here’s the problem with all of this and I do love your explanation @thatsKAIZEN They don’t actually want Socialism they want straight up Communism. It isn’t just about economic issues because they want to do away with the Constitution, Borders, Police, Senate and expand SCOTUS.

When I think of corruption, nothing tops it more than socialism and communism. They say it out loud; WE WILL TAKE FROM OTHERS TO BENEFIT OURSELVES!!! They want to own private businesses you started. They want to own the property you live on. They want to be in control of your health and body. They hide under a democracy that the mob rules and they control the mob. There is no individual rights under it, only that of the government and they are the elites in the government. Slavery. Why the billionaires do support it, it wipes out the middle class and makes everyone poor. The middle class don’t cut into the wealth of the poor lol. When we have a strong middle class the poor are lifted out of it but the pool of money goes down for the rich. Not with socialism, it only makes more poor people.

The people in America who want socialism are those that grew up with privilege. Had they worked and built anything they wouldn't be looking for the promised handouts. Every large-scale state directed implementation of socialism has led to an authoritarian or totalitarian system. Hitler was a Democratic Socialist

Socialism is about seizing the means of production. Which means taking away private business. People think that’s communism. And socialism is just capitalism with a robust welfare state e.g. northern Europe. Europe is not socialist. And even if we did implement a more robust welfare state like they do in Europe, this would lead to astronomically high taxes which most Americans would not accept. Socialism gains popularity because nobody understands it. Socialists themselves capitalize on this. Because no one willingly accepts “seizing the means of production”. 🤦‍♀️

Many people mistakenly think the DSA supports the same model as Sweden, Denmark & Finland etc. It does NOT. Those countries are social democracies with CAPITALIST economies. The DSA doesn't want capitalism. However, there are no socialist countries that have ever provided a higher overall standard of living than the US. So what are people thinking? 🤨

I could tell you what Social is this. Socialism turns into communism and it’s deadly poison!!.. I did escape communism from Bulgaria gazillion years ago. Bulgaria is in eastern Europe and we did not choose socialism/communism. We were just behind the curtain! I am very proud to be an American for a very long time and I absolutely love the United States!!.. The best president we had in a long while is Donald John Trump! I can't phantom why Americans and others believe that nordic countries are socialist. They have strong social programs, but in the economical sense are far from socialist.

Socialism beliefs in the US comes from people with first world problems. As in they are lazy, but want everything without earning it. It is pure jealousy, they want the juice, but don’t want to pick the fruit.
