Most Americans lock their front door at night—not because they hate everybody on the outside, but because they love the people on the inside. That’s the way they see our border, too.

I can remember nights when I was young in eastern ky. We left doors and windows open at night when it was warm. Poor don't get robbed.

I agree. Plus, we lock the back door and windows as well as the front door. I see the US Government now doing that, sometime in concert with other countries. I like the "neighborhood watch concept."
