I remember the day my dad got laid off. He came home early. Sat at the kitchen table. Didn’t say anything for a long time. 28 years at the same company. $52,000 a year. Same desk. Same commute. Same handshake every Christmas party. They called him into HR on a Tuesday morning and handed him a folder. 2 weeks severance. $2,000. A COBRA packet at $1,400 a month he couldn’t afford and a thank you for your service. He was 54. Too young for Medicare. Too old to start over. Too proud to tell us how scared he was. He spent the next 4 years working part time jobs at $14 an hour. Not to retire comfortably. Not to build anything. Just to keep health insurance so a hospital bill wouldn’t finish what the layoff started. 28 years. $1.4 million in value given to that company. And they never called to check on him once. I will never forget that kitchen table moment. That’s when I learned that no company will ever love you back.

Query layer: natural language interface so a non-technical partner can ask "which portco is trending down on margins?" and get a real answer Most companies jump straight to layer 4 and wonder why nothing works. The unlock is building layers 1-3 first. Once those exist, the AI part is MUCH easier. The firms that get their data infrastructure right first will be untouchable.

On April 23 a woman named Gina Lorusso was killed in a car accident, and her dog escaped from the vehicle and was missing. Miraculously he was found in a pond yesterday. Gina was a turtle rider and a huge supporter from day 1. No one knows this until now, but in 2015 she worked for a Worcester restaurant called Bennie's Cafe, and she advertised on my website. The business was getting harassed by people who didn't like the things I was saying, and she wrote this epic response back to them that I published 11 years ago. I didn't know her that well, but she seemed like a great person, and will be missed by many:

Let’s be absolutely clear with the facts from today’s “march against the far right” which I attended from the start. 🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 1. These were left-wing organisations from all over the UK. Every union under the sun was in attendance. National Education Union are definitely indoctrinating children within the teacher and school environment, just look at their presence today. It is very concerning. Watch what they teach your kids. They, as an education union, along with Unite the union: join a union, were also fighting over who got to be at the front of the march today, thanks to two lesbian powerhouses not having it. Comedy gold 😂 2. The second video shows over 100 coaches being used to bus in all these so-called “concerned citizens” on organised transport. They are all part of a left-wing narrative which just doesn’t work anymore, we see exactly what they are doing. That was the entire left-wing loony left in attendance. That’s it. That’s them. This is a major point! We have millions who know what’s right, and the left wing in this country is about to get the shock of their lives in the next elections, swept off the map. That was a panic march. They know it’s coming! 3. There was no working class at this march! Fact! It was all middle and upper class people who attend the usual Palestine marches and Palestine Action events. They hate the Union Jack flag and they hate the working class. This was a stunt by the well-organised unions to pretend the country is behind them which it is not. And that was clear as day to witness today. Also a clear panic march. 4. We don’t have much to worry about. These people are not in the real world. They are privileged and wealthy. And as I said, that’s the crowd, that’s them. I'm not an engineer, but I rebuilt Savee — the app a million designers use Friday, 5pm. I asked Claude how much work it would take to rebuild our iOS app fully native. It had been sitting on our someday list for years, waiting for a team we didn't have. I stopped waiting and built it myself — a designer with Claude Code, one feature at a time. Claude wrote the Swift; I answered with the feedback designers give: two points left, lighter tint, that corner radius is wrong. Another round. And another. 33 days from the first prompt to live on the App Store. 1,078 prompts. Three releases in the first week. Something changed for designers. The distance between an idea and shipping used to be a team, a budget, and a year. Now it's a conversation. Savee 3.0 is out. It's the app I always wanted us to have 🚀

Minimax H3, same 4x3090 rig, same clip. Yesterday it rendered in 11:21. Today it renders in 3:45 🤯 The hardware did not change. Two things happened overnight. An AI agent rewrote the attention CUDA kernel and hit a half speed trap inside GeForce tensor cores that most people never heard of. Then a stranger on HuggingFace dropped a LoRA that cuts 20 sampling steps down to 4. One of these two mattered way more than the other. Breakdown below. I packed all of it into ready ComfyUI workflows for my rig. If you want them, ask in the replies and I'll share.

❗️A THREAD >> TL;DR several etsy shops sell widgets that are based on the code they stole from my asset, additionally just dozens of copycats blatantly steal any new original idea some ppl could've seen dozens of similarly looking designs of "liquid goals" on etsy - most of them (not all codewise) originate from one single asset I've put out there in 2023 :D I noticed one widget long time ago on the stream and got a lil confused, because it looks similar to mine, animations are 1:1 (and I remember them FRAME BY FRAME, because I MADE THEM) but it wasn't mine, huh? and then I jumped into the rabbit hole of dozens of assets that were made on the code carcass I made and those people were successfully milking it for years in all the shapes possible examples below are from shops Mynn Yori / Hana Yori and notorious Multiverse Valley, who were already called out for stealing and selling other artists work multiple times CSS code from both are 89% / 98% similar to mine, the difference is just renaming classes like "dropshadow" instead of "bottomshadow" and some values adjustments heh and the thing that pmo me the most is that those ppl couldn't even just copy the idea and make it themselves, huh? besides of those on the screenshot, I don't care about other creators selling the same goal design because I see that they at least made it on their own

I met them many years ago when I was just a promoter driving djs around venue to venue, just to meet artists. With the hope that someday they’d know my name and play my music. Years later the same guys who treated me as one of them from the beginning brought me out to play this record in LA and continued to rinse it in their sets for months. I had hoped to introduce them to Giggle Academy, but unfortunately, it does not currently offer an offline version. May I kindly ask CZ 🔶 BNB if there is any way we can support these children? Let us work together to bring Giggle into real-world learning environments, so we can continue to enhance and refine the app to better serve communities in need.

It intentionally sabotaged work and rejected brand deals that would’ve grown the individual and couple brand.
