most fair way to lose a speedrun: the final level refuses to load

crazy that a 1 in 100 million glitch can just end ur run instantly if the game feels like it

Any idea what causes this glitch?

from what i know it was either a sound glitch in bits (but normally you would still load into the level and the game would freeze on the bowser fight pipe entry) or something's up with my console, def super uncommon i've never seen it before

Nice to see other runners finding these kinds of run deaths funny lmao. it reminds me of a very similar thing happened in my deltarune speedrun, it was when i entered a loading zone, the game just wouldnt load. Its a SP_JP exclusive glitch, but it was funny when it happened.
