“Most heavy vehicles don’t have functional tail lights or indicators” and somehow everyone in authority has become ok with it. Trucks cross so many state borders, where there is checking usually, still no one bothers to work on fix this menace.

Every time I overtake one of these guys I honk and use pass light to draw attention. No.1 moron driving is done by truck drivers on highways. Even 1 lane gap may not be enough to be safe from these thugs.

Yes, the gap between tyres and white strips of road gives indication where they are moving. this will help driver to plan overtakes/vehicle movement safely!!!!

Tail lights is least of the concerns here. Just the casual habit of changing multiple lanes with no consequences is a disaster that ordinary people have to endure on Indian roads.

The moment the dumper switched to the middle lane, that would've been my cue to slow down in the middle lane, because on another day the right lane could've a hazard and now the middle lane was occupied. But of course when the dumper would've done a two lane change like this footage, I would eventually need to judge whether I can pass it in the same middle lane or the right lane. #drivesafe

That's a golden advice. Watching wheel is the best indication before initiating overtake.

The dashcam driver also shouldn’t had changed the lane abruptly. He could have hit a barrier if there was a road blockade ahead.

Forget heavy vehicles, those tractors with wagons attached and village bikers are the most dangerous traffic you can encounter at night. Usually, i always cruise on the left lane if possible, keeping the fast lane free, but at night, you never know when you might encounter the next taillight-less driver who shifts all responsibility of keeping them safe on you just coz they're too lazy to change their lights.

And till date I never understood ,why when highways empty,these trucks suddenly start changing lane.

I really wondered how they are passing FC every year. These truckers really evil forces on highways .Poor vehicle condition. Worst driving habits ,Park trucks on highways , Arrogant behaviors .Keep away from them for your safety.

But why this much hurry from the truck operator?? He is not with 100% sense for sure! some diversion and pulling it to the left without carring about the mosquito vehicles coming behind??? No need to take responsibility of Vehicle or any body thats the attidude know??

How they are getting permit? Corrupt RTO officials. Left lane is for Heavy vehicle and right lane overtake lane. Why no action against these idiots?

Car driver clearly seen truck changing lane and started going left to overtake. Do we really need indicators for this ? And he did watched the wheels and still decided yo fight with the truck by going in same direction 😭🤡

I always watch the wheels of the heavy vehicles, if it is crossing the white lane , into the lane where I drive my car, I instantly slow down the vehicle, I never overtake

Fortunately it was a 3-laner. And sound horn, always!
