Most infrastructure is held together by 5 commands someone remembers when shit breaks Docs? Outdated. Answers? Buried in Slack, Notion, or shell history We got tired of that. So we built Atuin Desktop.

Runbooks shouldn’t be static text. They should execute. Atuin Desktop is a local-first, executable runbook editor for real terminal workflows. Copy-pasting isn't a workflow, it's a liability

Here’s what you can do: ⚡ Chain shell commands, DB queries & HTTP calls ⚡ Dynamic inputs with Jinja templating ⚡ Docs + execution in one place ⚡ Autocomplete from your actual shell history ⚡ Local-first (CRDT-powered) ⚡ Optional sync via Atuin Hub

How we’re using it right now: – Release workflows (no more checklist hell) – Infra migrations without fear – Spin up staging/prod on demand – Live DB ops without “who ran this last?”

What’s coming: 🚀 Team accounts → collaborative operations 🤖 Runbooks that generate themselves → powered by your shell history

We're rolling out Atuin Desktop now. Reply for early access!

1/ Data is the currency of the 21st century, but most businesses treat it like spare change. Lost. Scattered. Forgotten. Let's talk about why data is broken—and what it could look like when it works. 🧩🧶

you can read more about it here!

Wow! I'm a long-time Atuin CLI user with around 120k entries in my database. Atuin Desktop looks incredibly useful and I would love to give it a test drive.

This is incredible. I already abuse atuin on a daily basis and this seems like another quality addition to some workflows.
